On February 13, 2007, the Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts, M.W. Jeffrey Black Hogdon, presented Wor. Francis W.K. Smith the Joseph Warren Medal for distinguished service as a Mason, the highest honor that can be given in Blue Lodge to a Mason. Sharing this honor with Wor. Smith, a Mason for 57 years, is his family.
